Passionate, dedicated, and loving, Kim's Family Daycare teachers love their work and it shows in everything they do. Our goal is to make a positive difference on young kids who come to our Family Child Care.
Early Childcare Teacher
2-year degree in Child Development. 7 years experience as licensed daycare provider. Mn Career Lattice Awarded: Step 9d. Working on the Parent Aware program. Certified in first aid & CPR. Trained in SUID prevention; abusive head trauma; safety in the home; active supervision; food safety; importance of PLAY.

I am organized; patient; motivated and a great communicator. I have unique ideas to help foster your child's self-esteem, identity, and self-image. I think outside the box to help children and families succeed.

Learning Through Play
WE LEARN THROUGH PLAY
During the day, we use all our muscles for PLAY. We use our fingers for picking up items, painting, puzzles and turning pages in a book. We use our arms for lifting blocks, pushing and pulling toys, games and exercise. We use our legs for running, climbing, jumping, hopping and skipping. We use our feet for balance while we PLAY. We use our eyes to see; our ears to hear and our minds to think. We have schedules to follow so we actively use all our bodies. We even spend time solving problems. We use our entire body having fun through PLAY.
